Facebook is much better positioned with its user base, and adding a camera is a natural extension for FB

I question valuation and fluffy future expectations of snapchat.  Facebook and many others can target them directly and really go after their user base. As we now see FB is doing just that.
The core issue with Snap is that fluffy ears pictures are for kids, and most adults will not use Snapchat.

Facebook is a much better platform. They have more users, more companies (almost all social media apps/sites), more funds, higher share price, many more hints than just social media. I believe that Snapchat is only used by as small age group or demographic and may only stay alive for a short period of time. Their glasses, were an example to the public and possible investors of his Snap can become like Facebook, more than just social media. That didn't work out to well. I have personally never seen anybody wearing them in person or at least I don't recall. I would much rather purchase Google Glasses which are much more userful and generally better. Finally, their IPO, has been doing successfull, but I don't believe that will last. They are simply a one hit wonder and are very unlikely to do good. I don't think that they are better than Facebook which is a multi billion dollar company that is more that social media but is in many markets and has more users.

I don't really use snapchat other than for taking pictures of things I am willing to buy, or to share interesting things with my friends. Facebook is a terrible social messaging website, I don't trust in that goon Mark Zuckerburg letting the Russians play games with his website, so snapchat for me! I think its a helpful and nifty little app!
