Something that I dislike about Switzerland is its climate and its small size: I like traveling around whichever country I live in, and in Switzerland I would get bored very quickly. Granted, the whole Europe is available for easy visa-free travel, but Europe is somewhat monogeneous as far as climate goes. In the US, we have deserts, canyons, forests, rainforests, swamps, mountains, caves, dunes, tropical paradises, arctic planes... The US system of highways is probably only rivaled by German autobahns, and we have 50 different states with their own traditions, customs, laws, architecture, infrastructure - and all speaking the same language, making it easy to get the most out of traveling across them.

As far as politics and economy goes, Switzerland comes close to the US and surpasses some of its elements, in my opinion. One of the few countries where prosperity was achieved, and freedoms were never massively sacrificed in the name of security and equality. However, I like it better in the US personally, not at last for its diversity described above.
