    1. 77 cents to dollar does not take into account hours per week, position, or which level of degree they have.

    2. The wage gap is not calculated by the distinction between men salaries and women salaries in the same job and averaged by all jobs, it is calculated by the average salary of women and the average salary of men. This is paramount because we can take into account the fact that women choose lower paying jobs and pick lower paying degrees in college.

    3. The new wage gap is 81 cents to the dollar, and it does not take into account hours per week, position, or which level of degree they have.

    4. Men work in a full-time job 36 more minutes more than women, this is responsible for about 7.143% of the wage gap, which makes sense, being paid for housework would be silly. There is 11.857% of the gap unexplained now.

    5. Women do much more housework than men. Being paid for housework? Hah.

    6. The ten highest paying for base salary by college majors are computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, industrial engineering, information technology, civil engineering, statistics, nursing, and management information systems

    7. Out of those 10 majors, males make up 70% or more in computer science (79%), electrical engineering (82.8%), mechanical engineering (93.1%), chemical engineering (79.3%), industrial engineering (70.1%), information technology (75.3%), and civil engineering (86.6%). Remember that this is only including majors with over 70% of people males. The other three are statistics, nursing, and management information systems. Statistics still has a majority of males at 54.6%, and so does management information systems at 69.3%. The only major with a majority of women is nursing, with 88.1% of them being female.

    8. The ten lowest for base salary by college major are digital communication, special education, recreation studies, education, legal support services, animal science, theological and ministerial studies, social work, work and family studies, and child development and psychology.

    9. Out of these 10 majors, FEMALES make up 70% or more in special education (87.1%), education (78.5%), legal support services (84.7%), animal science (77.1%), social work (87%), and child development and psychology (91.4%). In six of these majors, 70% or more people with a degree in the major are female. The other four are digital communication, recreational studies, theological and ministerial studies, and work and family studies. Digital communication is 52.5% male, theological and ministerial is 72.1% male, recreational studies are 52.8% female, and work and family studies is 60.1% female.

    10. Finally, men are four times more likely to ask for a raise than women.
