The sinking of the Lusitania was caused by the British Government
in Global

on May 7th, 1915. The British vessel RMS Lusitania was torpedoed by the German U-Boat U20. This caused outrage around the world, mainly in America. This event began to convince Americans to join the war.

However, it was discovered that the ship was loaded with military arms, which was the reason Germany said the Lusitania was a legitimate target.

In 1982, The British Navy tried to destroy the wreckage, which caused suspicion, and later the conspiracy theory that the British, mainly Winston Churchill intentionally sank the Lusitania to drag America into WW1
