There are hundreds of religions with thousands of denominations. Because they all contradict each other, at most only one of them can be right, but that doesn't exclude the possibility that they are all wrong.

There is no hard evidence to suggest that Jesus or any other deity is a god, or that gods even exist. If we are to believe something without evidence, then the sheer number of contradictory things that must be true are certain. This can not be the case, so it is most logical, practical, and accurate to assume nothing unproven is true, and there is only one reality.

To believe in any religion, Christianity or otherwise is to intentionally subject yourself to slavery to a being that we don't know for sure exists.

An atheist or agnostic attempts to free themselves from this delusion, and live a life that is based on hard facts and evidence.

My opponent needs to prove that there is a god, and that he is Jesus. The bible is an ancient book, and it contains metaphysical truths, but this does not automatically make it literally true. The bible is not the oldest text, and this implies that others may be more accurate.

If the claims of the bible are absolutely true, then where is Jesus now? Many Christians wait for there messiah to return, the "Second coming" if you will, but I have never understood this as technically, this would be the 3rd coming, because the bible teaches that Jesus came back from the dead after being crucified. Otherwise, Jesus should still be here, and we should be able to interact with him.
