I propose that if we are all under surveillance all the time, everywhere we are, it would be very liberating for all of us. If we see everything that everybody does, we will be more accepting of all the things we all do in privacy. If we all have an understanding and a realization that many of the things we do in private are universal secrets. This isn't an argument for government surveillance that only can see, because that would be oppression. I'm arguing that an individually owned surveillance system that is socially controlled could potentially be the most liberating thing we as a society could do. If we all know each others secrets, and we're totally open about them, we as a society will have more understanding and empathy for others secrets.
