Greetings!
Probably, we have talked a lot about coronavirus, but now, we need to discuss other health matters. Yes, I am here to discuss the hearing loss. I found
this study which says about 14.3 percent Americans are suffering because of hearing loss. It is present in severe, mild and unnoticeable conditions in many Americans. Though it has also been revealed that 2-3 American babies among 1000 have inherent hearing problems but I am here to talk about the hearing matters which are humanmade. Indeed, I am trying to highlight the noise pollution, which is increasing day by day. Even our music is becoming more violent gradually. So, do you think we need to consider it as a big problem? Or should leave it?
On the other hand, if we talk about solutions, usually people recommend noise-cancelling gadgets, soundproof rooms etc. but I don't think it is the solution. In my opinion, assistive listening should be available to all people. You can see here how Wi-Fi, Infrared and FM
assistive listening systems helping students at schools and colleges but don't you think such environments should be a must for all classrooms, sports areas and even at parties? Secondly, healthcare infrastructure should also emphasize on ear-related diseases. I would also like to add those hearing problems also lead to mental illness, and governments should try to overcome the noise population as well.
What are your views on this hearing loss and noise-related issues? Waiting for your opinions.
