Are we making Covid-19 more dangerous?

IMO and what studies have shown (from sources of my own no link provided) is that human beings are nurturing the Corona Virus to a more potent level of it being contagious. Ill explain my own opinion why.
Covid-19 or any virus in general mutates. And the only way it can mutate is by several factors that affect it from where it can learn to evolve from such lethal barriers therefore mutates into a new mutation of the same virus with a new tolerance for whatever factor was affecting it before. Most of you know thisbut for those who dont ill explain the details below.
The world is using Hand Sanitizers to combat the Corona Virus. Although hand sanitizers are effective to combat the virus and to an extent contain it to a certain degree. hand sanitizers have also shown to be key in the advancement of viral mutations that evolve into more deadly to humans and tolerant to hand sanitizers. This is a problem because that means that by the time we take to make a vaccine it would be rendered useless because the virus would have mutated by then to a different strain requiring different vaccine. This can be possible if a virus mutates at an alarming pace.
Are we speeding up the mutation process of the corona virus to quickly become a bigger threat to all society?. Is this a real danger or is the world not concerned about it?.
