Arrogance, Self-Identity, Confidence & Lack of

Debate Information

Hello everybody,

The debate Title is 'Arrogance, Self-Identity, Confidence & Lack of'. But it does not in any manner provide a thorough explanation as to what the proclaimed debate is actually attempting to illuminate onto. I will exert my very best effort to elaborate on the topic simply concise to 'arrogance'.

The debate will hopefully shed light on why people behave arrogantly and are prone to appear rude to a recipient of such a [person] behavioral actor. (A: Arrogant) as opposed to (B: Confident) and (C: Lack of self-esteem) will be the three variables that I will be using for ease of the arguments that I will provide - an elucidation; concise language usage. My argument [or actually a posed question] is that arrogance is a lack of self-esteem and that it is simply a 'shell'; 'shield', 'weapon'. And that the utilization of such an actor is considerably for the sake of providing some sort of 'appearance', 'image', that the unit utilizing considerable energy into such a task to enhance their wellbeing. And that it simply is a false 'wellbeing' and that it will decay over an X amount of time [eventually].

I am actually searching for a reason why a lot of people appear arrogant, have an inflated ego, egoistical at times, and considerably rude to recipients of such a behavioral actor. I am searching for someone that actually realizes that they are an arrogant person and I would appreciate their opinion as to why they accept the arrogance and why they continue to behave in such an arrogant manner. I will be arguing against why you cannot; should not behave in such ill-advised mannerisms.

The definition of arrogance from the Cambridge dictionary is listed in the following text: "unpleasantly proud and behaving as if you are more important than, or know more than, other people*".

Thank you,
