Technology is rapidly moving down the super highway of information at a great rate of acceleration. As a unified, civilised society we have achieved so much in a short space of time. We now have robots that are not only adept at high precision manufacturing but capable of delicate surgery and being qualified psychiatrists.
The prime-mover of this amazing technology of course, is information. Never before in the history of mankind has everyone had such easy access to high quality information yet, here we are in the twenty-first century and we still have theists who are stuck in a time warp reluctant to accept what we do know about the world in order to steadfastly cling onto beliefs that belong to an ancient world of myths and superstition. If we unpack and peel back the layers of AI we have two words; arrogance and ignorance which have long been the hallmarks of believers which have enabled them to shut out any conflicting knowledge that might challenge their now obsolete faith in the supernatural. So, with such ever increasing exposure to science and truth, can theists ever hope to keep their beliefs alive with AI alone?
