I’m married to a Christian and I have nothing against them , I never said Christians do not have a right to these things what I said was that guy is a loony his TV show is under the heading of conspiracy shows ...... You always miss the point don’t you ?

@Joeseph I don't care. Christians still have the right to home Bible studies. The government does not have any right to penalize freedom of religion, apeech, or property rights. Being married to a Christian doesn't mean you aren't a bigot against most Christians, so KMA.

This is not any more persecution of Christians, than removal of "Mein Kampf studies" from German schools was persecution of National-Socialists. Removal of an ideological privilege reverts the education system back to its initial, unbiased, state - where it belongs.

That said, I did not watch the piece you linked and have not heard of anyone planning to ban "Bible studies", so I do not know the backstory and might be referring to something else.

@Wowsil Religious liberty is a right. Christians have the right to freedom of religion and speech. Christians have the absolute right to peacefully assemble. Do you even Constitution?

The concept of religious liberty prescribes free practicing of one's religious views, as long as they do not infringe on other people's rights. It is does not mean that the government is free to introduce mandatory religious studies at public schools. Freedom to impose religious studies is the opposite to religious liberty; it is religious tyranny instead.

People who want to study the Bible at their homes with a private tutor, or in a religious private school, are, of course, free to do so. Those who want to study the Bible in a public school, however, are out of lack, because the government is not supposed to fund promotion of any ideology.

Yeah, only in a private school that is pro-Christian...

Not a public school where you have got people who aren't just Christian, but Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist etc

    mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…

What about atheists who are less trustworthy than rapists according most of America?

That sounds like a bigger issue than a book being banned...

I think schools should be free to decide for themselves whether or not to have bible study.  The 1st amendment states that we have freedom of speech and freedom of religion.  If you accuse it of being too biased, the school system is already too left leaning as it is so religion can provide a right wing counterweight.
