  • Drug use should be treated as a mental health issue rather than a criminal offense.

     Well, to be honest, I think this is a tie. You were able to show that it is not completely false to consider drug use as a mental health issue. But you have never touched on the "cons and pros" that I pointed out.

     The burden of proof was also on you on a debate like this. You were able to show that the system you are suggesting has some pros that the other system does not have - but you never explained how exactly this system is better, necessarily. In the end, they both had pros and cons and we never talked about which outweighed which.

     I also wish you posted different studies rather than saying "I do not trust that study". I think you could have really had me there and, to be honest, I was kind of expecting that to be my doom.

     I really hoped that you would talk more about that analogy by William K. Clifford and how it does not exactly apply here.

     I didn't show any kind of definite proof either, though. I tried to press on the ethics side but the discussion branched into so many topics. I wanted my strongest and main point to be the fact that drug users worked themselves into their addiction and mindstate, but for some reason it did not stand out like I wanted it to. And I am not really sure what exactly your response to that was.

     Overall, I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did. And let me remind you that I do not necessarily believe in anything I say here.

  • Is free speech a human right?

    I think it is. I believe that the left (well, at least a specific part of it) has come up with this idea of "hate speech" to silence the people who oppose them (either consciously or unconsciously). If this was not what you were trying to mention with that last part, ignore the second sentence.

  • The Difference Between Science and Religion

    I would like to add something: Even if a scientist is not sure about a theory or a hypothesis but thinks there is a good chance that it might be true, they still do not say they "believe" in that idea. "Belief" means that you are sure of something. This is also a very fundamental distinction between science and religion. Science admits that there are things unknown to us while religion fills that gap with random information. This is the reason religion attracts a lot of people. The majority can't be content with not knowing so they rather accept false information.

  • Is Evolution Real?

    @Sand ;
    1- Learn how to make logical arguments.
    2- Learn physics.
    3- Learn biology.

     What you have just written is complete nonsense and it is very clear that you have no idea what evolution even is.

  • Earth is a ball that is 25,000 miles in circumference.

    @Erfisflat I have made no assumptions so far.
