Will Trump get impeached?

So now that we have seen what the Democrates have and consider proof.

Here is my opinion.  The Democrates have no facts to backup their assertions that Trump commited an impeachable offence.  They only offered one fact witness.  The current Ambassador who did not state any evidence of bribery.

 Due to the  fact that the Democrats want to move forward with impeachment on those "witnesses "  testimony  only shows that this is more of a political stunt then an honest effort to unseat a standing President for wrong doing.

Here is my opinion.  The Democrates have no facts to backup their assertions that Trump commited an impeachable offence.  They only offered one fact witness.  The current Ambassador who stated the President told him he diid want anything from them.  He also testified that a White House meeting was being withheld.  This in it's self is not a crime as established by a previous Supreme Court  ruling.

One fact witness was presented.  That did not prove anything.

Now Chuck Schumer would like to call witnesses to the Senate hearing that the house could have called but for whatever reason they did not.

If they choose to impeach on what evidence they currently have is disgraceful.  

Like Trump or don't. The fact that the house is choosing to go forward with this is a black sad day in our history.

Those witnesses defied subpoenas on the order of the WH... Get real...

The Dems could have waited for the courts to rule on the legitimacy of those subpoenas.  They chose not to, likely because they knew the subpoenas were baseless and would have been thrown out.

Actually the in Bolton's case when the question of his subpoena was brought in front of a judge the Democrats withdrew the supeana before the judge got the chane to rule.

The second subpoena issued was given to Mcgahn.  In this case the judge ruled that Mcgahn must comply and went to furthrt to state that no white house official working under the President could not ignore a supeana.

Yet Democrates chose not to call Mcgahn as a witness or issue any further supeanas.

Now if the Democrates had decided to supeana further witnesses or gone through the judicial process of subboeanaing the paperwork they said they wanted and a judge ordered it released.  If the President then ordered that the judicially supeanas be ignored  They then would have had a strong case for obstuction.  Yet for whatever reason the Democrates decided not to issue the subeanas. Why?

Now Chuck Schimer says he wants to call new witnesses to the Senate trial.  Why?  Is it because they know their case is weak.It was the houses job to call those witness prior to am Impeachment vote but they chose not to.  When they brought the impeachment to a vote and voted for impeachment they essentially closed their case.  Which would be the equivalent of a prosecutor closing his presentation of facts in a criminal trial.

It is not the job of the Senate to add witnesses that House had the opportunity to call.  They rested their case.  

It is the Senates responsibility to look at the facts or lack of facts in this case that the House impeached on and then litsen to the defences witnesses and arguments. 

I think they should also look at the violations that occurred during the Houses hearings and consider whether or not those violations had an affect on the hearings outcomes.  Of course a trial is completly overseen by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and the Senators are treated more as jurors.  They don't generally have debates during the proceeding although I believe the Senators can submit questions to the Chief Justice to be asked and answered.

Now Pelosi has decided that she is holding back the artcles from the Senate saying she wants to assure there will be a fair trial.  Since when does the Congress have a say in what the Senate does.  The House has no more of a right to dictate any demands on the Senate as the Senate has no rights to dictate anything the House does.

When it comes right down to it I would hope that nobody would have charges brought against them in a criminal court with so few facts against them.
