America as a Nation is reaping what She has sown, death.
If America
survives another two-generations as a Constitutional Republic,
historians will look back at the 1960’s and the infusion of Darwin’s
nonsense into our public schools as the catalyst for America’s
“progressive” fall into rampant immorality, abortion, addiction,
suicide, confusion, LGBTQ deception.
In combination with historical revisionism, I believe evolution in our public schools was a carefully crafted strategy by progressive-socialists to remove Christianity
from American society and prepare the hearts of our posterity for the
infusion of socialism via rampant atheism i.e. moral relativism that
pursues aberrant lust relevant to the fallen-nature of man.
The religion of evolution
is the primary progenitor of the modern-day atheist, nihilist,
secularist, humanist, socialist, moral relativist and our Millennial
Generation is the first to manifest these horrific ideologies into
American society…we’re already experiencing the unconscionable results.
Satan is rejoicing at the destruction of America’s youth; therefore, stand-by…things are only going to get worse.
In Democracies the people in charge may or may not be competent or even have the best interests of the people in mind. This is however, much, much better than autocracy because even if those in power only do what the people want and is in their best interest some of the time that is not never in their interest.
In theory, those who are most qualified should be elected to power. The theory breaks down when demagogues and con men can take advantage of the public who often know very little about what is actually going on in politics.
The advantage of meritocracy, is that in theory those who are in power should be better equipped to lead. This break down however, when the decision is something that isn't about how much you know, but what are your values.
Most of the controversial issues we face are due to a difference in the values of the public, and there is often no right answer.
At some point in the distant past, the universe went through a phase of cosmic inflation, Stars formed, planets coalesced, and on at least one of them life took root. Through a long process of evolution this life developed into the human race. Humans conquered fire, built complex societies and advanced technology . All of that so we can argue about nothing.
Meritocracy is incompatible with democracy, because the ability to get to the top in a democracy relies on one's skill at manipulating public opinion, while the ability to get to the top in a meritocracy relies on one's skills directly relevant to their field of expertise. Democracy and meritocracy are going to lead to drastically different outcomes.
There are not many meritocratic societies in the world, due to how prone to corruption power structures are. The closest systems to meritocracy I can think of are those found in Hong Kong and Singapore, but even there corruption is quite noticeable, especially given how much the mainland China has recently been buying off politicians and directorate boards there. China itself tries to pose itself as a meritocracy, but in practice that meritocracy only exists at the bottom, and at the top personal connections and loyalty to the party still play a much bigger role, than one's professional merit.
Free market by its design, on the other hand, leads to a semblance of meritocracy in a narrow sense, in that enterpreneurs employing most effective business models have an edge over those employing mediocre business models. However, it is also influenced by current consumer preferences, which change over time, putting some enterpreneurs with objectively effective business models out of business. Consumers, in turn, do not quite base their customer choices on the abstract values of various products, and there is a lot of subjectivity in their choice, which businesses cannot easily adapt to.
Meritocracy is a noble idea, but it just does not work well in the real world, not only because it is impossible to organise property, but also because the world is by its nature chaotic and merit alone does not always determine one's ability to do the job. Granted, meritocracy to some degree naturally arises in any competitive environment - for example, better lawyers are going to have better employment opportunities, better clients and better incomes - but always with a lot of caveats - again, a lousy lawyer with a lot of charisma can sometimes win a case against a very skilled lawyer, that just happens to not be good-looking and well-spoken.
And any attempt to directly enforce meritocracy is very likely to end up in a disaster. Virtually all military systems try to operate on meritocratic principles, and as a result a lot of people needlessly die, because everybody trusts the higher-ups to give them the right orders, which they cannot always do. Free choice is much more important than any other considerations, and is most likely to lead to the best outcome for everyone. Let people do whatever they want, as long as they can persuade someone to give them the opportunity, and let the competition sort it out.
Meritocracy starts with the idea that we as individuals owe something to all of society simply because of our existence. That is an unfounded view. We as individuals do not owe anything to anybody simply for existing.
