Can You Try to Make Me Religious?
I ask you to try to convince and convert me
You don't need convincing to be religious.
All you need to be is naive, gullible and a total nit-wit and the rest will follow.
Allow me to elaborate, since I always qualify my arguments with sound reasoning and evidence.
History has shown that religion was devised by those in power to exercise control over the masses. This can be evidenced by many passages in the Bible and Quran which are mostly political doctrines of the era. In those days, the masses were profoundly superstitious (out of ignorance and ill-education) so they were easily "sucked in" by all the contrivances about God.
Nowadays, in modern, civilised society, we are well educated and have free access to plenty of quality information such as the science of evolution which irrefutably puts the kibosh on creation and all but completely dismisses any possibility of there being a God. So, in modern times, religion is therefore the domain of those who wish to control others (preachers) and those who are naive gullible and are total nit-wits.
So, I am using the term, nit-wit in the literal sense (far be it for me to intend a general form of abuse) to illustrate the point that the only people who really do believe in God fall noticeably short in the credibility stakes.
