I believe that someone shouldn't get made fun of for telling someone their pronouns. I think it's odd when people laugh when asked what their pronouns are. I think any argument against pronouns is often misguided.
Although apparently lots of people didn't pass first grade, so if you are one of those people and don't know what pronouns are, here are some examples; she/her, he/him, they/them, she/they, he/they, it/it's, xe/xem, etc.
The same goes for gender. Male, female, non-binary, genderfluid, etc. are all valid.
