In Mark's gospel, Jesus is reported as saying that those who believe in him and are saved can, in his name, cast out demons, handle snakes,
drink deadly substances without coming to harm, and that they can heal the sick by the laying of hands.
Now I think the first three are just nonsense, but the laying of hands to heal the sick seems a worthwhile endeavour.
So why are you Christians not out and about curing the sick in the world of their illnesses with your divinely gifted power?
After all, it was Jesus himself who said that if you believed in him and were saved you had the power to heal the sick by the laying of hands, and if you can't believe
