Lately I've been seeing quite a lot of people (mostly young American woke people) talking about how their "lived experience" matters and is actually more important than data, it doesn't, first off all, people are unreliable, they tend to exaggerate thing and sometimes just make things up altogether, they might not even know that they're doing this, but they are, like fat people who like to claim oppression and say that their "lived experience" is enough evidence, it's not, they're just taking small things and turning it into a big deal in their minds, secondly, for something to be believed, there needs to be many relocatable examples of it, that's how science works, something that does not work every time is called anecdotal evidence, and is not the basis for forming an opinion on any issue. This idea really only caught on because it's about being nice, it's nice to believe people's stories, it's not nice to doubt and demand actual evidence.
What matters is Data.
