Always having a hard time understanding at least me, and at most types of truth. politicians are accountable to the republic in America, it is why the United States Constitution creates only one party in America and it is a republic. The Democratic party is a political party brough back to America from England by legal counsel in favor of a parliamentary Congress.

What keeps it from becoming treason?

It is legal practice as the more perfect union made to preamble requirements. Is that the whole truth?
