Progressivism-Liberalism-DEI are the ugly roots of "racism" in America - Solutions?

Debate Information

Progressivism-Liberalism are the ugly root of "racism" in America

The United States has "progressively" morphed into a "racist" society via Progressivism-Liberalism, Diversity-Equity-Inclusion (DEI) as Affirmative Action mandates have become racist toward Whites and Asians as DEI is based in equity as opposed to meritocracy; therefore, unqualified, inferior, applicants are being placed into positions of responsibility that directly and negatively affect societal safety and sustainability. When men and women are judged and evaluated by immutable characteristics e.g., skin color-race-ethnicity as opposed to character, intelligence, work ethic, society crumbles. The social cancer of DEI can only be overcome by returning to meritocracy as the baseline for evaluating an individuals qualifications for positions of responsibility in a society that cherishes sustainable mores, norms, values, success.

  • the republicans were the ones to take action against racism particularly during the mid-20th century. Historical context highlights key Republican figures, such as President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who took measures to enforce desegregation in schools and uphold civil rights. Additionally, Republicans were instrumental in the passing of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965. These landmark legislations aimed at dismantling systemic racism and ensuring equal rights for all citizens. Critics, however, point out that political dynamics have evolved since then, with shifts in party ideologies, making it essential to consider the broader historical context and ongoing efforts to address racial disparities from various political perspectives.

@nicholaschumbley ; DEI, a Progressive-Democrat construct, does not "address racial disparities from various political perspectives" but creates an atmosphere of reverse discrimination as it seeks to place the inferior into positions of authority that inevitably destroy sustainable mores, norms, values, safety, sustainability.
DEI motivates, fosters, an atmosphere of privilege and entitlement among those who are inferior in intellect, drive, will, talent, ability, morals, values, while those who persevered and prepared for service through hard work and diligence and pursued sustainable mores, norms, values, are neglected, rejected, insulted, despised...this is not socially, ethically, morally, sustainable.

If DEI policies discriminate against someone because of their race in hiring, promotions, awards, benefits, or having their voice heard, then  they are racist and unjust.  Any program that believes you can know someone's thoughts, implicit biases, guild, oppressor/victim status, privileges, or fragility by only knowing a person's race is a racist program.

The racism embraced by leftists is doubly dangerous.  First, it discriminates against whites and Asians for the sin of being white and Asian.  And make no mistake that to leftists, this is a sin.  This is perversion of true justice.  True justice is about rewarding or punishing an individual according to their actions or behaviors, not their skin color.  Just being part of a particular race, according to leftists, makes you guilty.  This immoral belief perverts justice and makes it about your group affirmation, rather than, a true justice does, judges you based on your individual conduct.

However, the racism of the view is not just confined to Asians and whites.  Because this racist belief system sees all inequities as the product of racism, it falsely tells Blacks and Hispanics that they have no agency and that their personal efforts are useless.  This lie causes individuals to believe that their personal conduct doesn't make a difference in their outcomes.  This kind of demonic lie destroys the future of a Black child who gives up and just accepts the lie that he can't achieve or succeed.

I agree with you in part that racism is racism irrespective of the individual offended or denied but additionally, another destructive resultant of DEI is a false sense of "privilege" and "entitlement" among Blacks, Hispanics, the sexually perverse, gender confused, placed into positions of authority they do not deserve nor are they qualified for nor have they earned and this feeds the base-nature of pride and arrogance which far too many today flaunt in disrespect for the law and moral mandates essential to a sustainable society.

DEI fosters hate and resentment in both the privileged-undeserved and the denied-qualified and that hatred and resentment permeates American society today and is a powder keg in search of a spark. Democrat-Progressive unsustainable social polices combined with the hatred of reverse discrimination will destroy America's Constitutional Republic.
