When you think about it it is a matter of how you interpret it and in realty there are heaps of ways that people interpret this question.
For example a good example is that God actually spoke whatever the words they were and some one recorded his voice on some sort of ancient dictaphone then transcribed it in to the Bible verbatim.
Then it could mean this and there are many a counts of this. Many religious scholars say that it means the word of God is what inspired the writers to write what they did. An other words they wrote what they reckon God would have said about what ever it was they wrote. For example in the Bible it says that if a woman grabs a mans nackers then she will get her hand chopped off. Now that one I reckon was definitely off field and if God were reel he would not have come up with some thing so dum as that. So what Im saying is that when those writers were inspired by what God said in reality I reckon that they drank a gallon of hemlock wine for there inspiration.
Then theres the purist fundamentalists who hang on to every word in the Bible as being the hole truth and nothing butt the truth. And you really have to be uber mental to believe in all the crap written in the Bible like all those myths about Moses parting the seas and Lot getting rapped by his daughters and Noah hearding 2 of every animal in to a boat. Like what the?
So what really does the word of God really mean?
