They are against voluntary prayer rights in school, when I was an alleged student, I was censored for having my Bible with me. I had it for my own use, not to force on other people.
'Radical Leftists' being the one or two leftists involved in the event with you personally or radical leftists as a whole?
If the former then this whole thing is pretty much entirely anecdotal so I don't think anyone can meaningfully contribute.
If the latter then you would seem to be engaging in political prejudice. I am a radical leftist by pretty much anyone's standard and have no issue with a student having a Bible with them for personal use at school, ergo you are unjustly criticising an entire group based on stereotypes.
@Ampersand Radical leftists in general, but with me personally. I have the right to read Mein Kampf (I don't want to) if I want. Freedom is a right. If I want to read the Bible, that is my right to freedom of religion and speech.

Just because you have the freedom of religion, doesn’t mean it’s allowed at a school.
The 2nd amendment allows the right to bear arms, yet there are gun free zones at schools because the school is owned by the district, who has the right to allow and and disallow things on their property.
Same thing for the freedom of religion. A school has the right to ban the Bible. (Also prayer is probably one of the worst things allowed at school)
